No, no, that would never be my repair technique! I once had the idea of making the inside of a Bass a kind of "Magic Box", where you can look through the endpin-hole and shine a light through the F-Holes. Most of the glue is out. I used water, heat and a lot of patience with a little knife. I am in doubt wether I should fit the cracks back together or carve large strips of spruce that fit in the cracks as to keep the form. One crack is aprox 5 mm.
